Artist Statement: The art hanging up in Cafe Mela is a compilation of multiple different mediums but with one over-arching theme, “The Outdoors.”
As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I find ways to capture my love of the mountains and ocean through the fluid art lense. As an abstract artist, I love how each person sees something different in the art I produce. This creates a freedom of expression as an artist and provides the viewer freedom to feel the way a piece makes them feel. The main mediums used in my pieces are: *Epoxy resin, Alcohol Inks, and Acrylics. Some pieces are embellished with gold leaf.
