Book Reading Event and Meet the Author
Join us at Firehouse Pet Shop in Downtown Wenatchee for a very special book reading and signing.
Listen as local author Kate Norland reads from her very special children’s book titled BELLE’S WENATCHEE BLOSSOM. ONE PART STORY – ONE PART CITY GUIDE.
Kate will share two special opportunities to hear her story. First session at Noon, with a special evening reading commencing at 5pm. Upon completion, Kate will be available to sign books with a personalized message. A perfect Christmas gift for someone special in your life.
Books will be available for purchase on day of the event at Firehouse Pet Shop. You can also purchase a copy at Ye Old Book Shoppe, also located on the same block as Firehouse Pet Shop.
About the author: Kate Norland has made her home in Wenatchee since 2003. She and her husband raised four children here and they all enjoy the sights and activities described in these pages. Kate wrote this book as a souvenir for visitors, a keepsake for locals, and, hopefully, a much-loved bedtime story for children.
About the illustrator: Christin Quissell grew up with the author in Bend, Oregon. She now lives in Arizona with her two girls, where she paints and teaches art. This is her first published illustrated title.
