Local Author Book Reading for Kids and the Young at heart!
Join us at Firehouse Pet Shop Friday from 3pm to 6pm, where you can meet local author TJ Farrell. TJ will be reading from her adorable book titled THE ARFABET! A Book of Dog Poems from A to Z. This book would make a lovely holiday gift for any child on your shopping list.
TJ will be reading from her book at 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm. And of course if anyone comes between those times you can expect a special one-on-one reading just for the little ones.
Parents and Grandparents bring the kids on down for the fun! We will also be serving free hot cocoa, hot apple cider, coffee and of course our famous Firehouse Popcorn!
TJ Farrell grew up in Colorado and has made Wenatchee her home for nearly 30 years. She makes up silly little rhymes at the drop of a hat and inappropriately inserts them into conversations. This book was a labor of love, inspired by everyone who ever showed her a picture of their pet, and the amazing diversity of the canine world. She also acts in local theater, makes over-the-top Halloween costumes, does voice acting, podcasts with her friends, and enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and video games.
