Artist Bio:
Meg is a jack of all trades, master of none, and up for just about any collaborative creative endeavor imaginable. In the theatre realm, she is an actor, scenic artist, director and producer. She also writes poetry and is a singer/songwriter, currently jamming with the hot new local band, TV on Silent. She is a founding member of Full Circle Theatre Company and a licensed mental health counselor with expertise in creative arts therapies.
1000 mg Liquitex PRN is a collection of acrylic paintings completed over the course of the past few years. This collection is rooted in a therapeutic exploration of emotions and experiences that only seemed to want to be processed through paint on canvas. The goal with these paintings is not to end up with something aesthetically pleasing (although that’s sometimes a happy accident!) but to tap into the catharsis that comes with creating and expressing the stuff that doesn’t get to come out otherwise. You are invited to come and take a peek inside Meg’s brain. She will be at Epoch from 6pm to 8pm and would love to meet you and chat with you!
