In her first solo exhibition, Wenatchee artist Joanna Lavaun displays a suite of ornate mixed-media sculptures juxtaposing inspirations from natural organic shapes with human crafted objects. Though the works are made from cheap and thrifted materials including shells and yarn, they give off a campy Rococo vibe. Her works will be displayed in the lounge area at 383 Threads through the month of May.
