Featured Artist: Kathleen Dyer.

Kathleen Dyer is a full-time artist and muralist who has been painting canvases, skateboards, shop windows, and walls throughout the Wenatchee Valley since moving here from Park City, Utah over 20 years ago. She attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh to study Media Arts and Animation, and after completing an internship at an animation studio in Ireland in 2012, Kathleen originally planned to move overseas to pursue animation full-time. Instead, she chose to stay in the valley and focus on painting murals and commissioned artwork locally. Art has always been a major source of the joy in her life, and her main focus is to spread that joy through her work. She paints from her heart with vibrant colors in a semi-realistic style – with a wide variety of constantly changing subject matter consisting of anything  from scenic landscapes to happy monsters, to her favorite foods, animals, people, and flowers. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her husband Hans, her 17 year old daughter Chloe, and her fluffy dog Georgie.
