Artist Statement:
Brent Petersen was introduced to art in a class at Wenatchee Valley College taught by Robert Graves. “Abstract painting is my favorite art form, with its design, patterns, and color. There is great freedom in abstraction and in exploring the many ways it can be created into a piece of art. I especially enjoy leaving it to the viewers to figure out what they like about a painting and what it means to them”
Artist Statement:
Marilynn Weaver finds value in being consistent and sets aside time each day to paint scenes of rustic life–old barns, churches, birds, and horses, often from photographs taken by her daughter Teri St. Jean. She also produces and sells a calendar of her paintings each year.
You are invited to Two Rivers Gallery on First Friday October 4. Exhibition runs from October 4th to 26th.
