SUMMARY:Epoch
DESCRIPTION:Featured Artist: Rogue Legacy Woodcraft!\n\nAs always\, we will have $2 off our menu cocktails.\n\nHere’s a little from the artist:\nMy name is Tom Baxter\, and I am the owner and craftsman behind Rogue Legacy Woodcraft. I specialize in creating custom live-edge and epoxy resin pieces that bring nature and artistry together. Influenced by a family full of creativity\, I’ve channeled that passion into my work.\n\nThe name Rogue Legacy Woodcraft comes from my own journey. As a dialysis patient for 13 years\, I’ve had my share of challenges\, but I never let that define or limit me. I made the choice to go rogue from the path life set out for me and decided to craft my own legacy\, turning my passion for woodworking into a business that reflects my strength and creativity. Every piece I craft is a unique blend of skill and vision\, and I’m driven by a desire to create something lasting\, both in the art I make and in the legacy I leave for my family. When I’m not in the shop\, you can find me spending my time with my wife\, Rachel\, daughter\, Zoey\, and our dogs\, Mystique and Barbie.\n\n\n

SUMMARY:iLA Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Shine Song Circle every month on the 1st – locations will vary. November: Join us for Wenatchee First Friday at iLa Yoga! \nWhat is a Shine Song Circle?\nIt’s a gathering where we come together to sing simple\, heartfelt songs that uplift and inspire. Your voice becomes more than just a musical instrument—it’s a tool for healing\, mental clarity\, building true confidence\, and awakening a deeper sense of awareness. \nUnlike many musical events where you simply listen\, Shine Song Circles are an active experience. It’s not about how your voice sounds\, but how it feels within. This is a safe space for self-expression\, where you can let go and connect deeply with yourself and others. Be ready for movement\, joy\, and soul connections\, all powered by our collective voices. \nWe’ll sing old songs\, new songs\, soft ones\, loud ones\, funny\, tender\, and everything in between. Yours\, mine\, and ours. No experience is necessary—just come as you are\, with an open heart (and a little water). Everyone is welcome!

SUMMARY:Lemolo Cafe & Deli
DESCRIPTION:Featured Artist:  Connie Hirschman Shorb. \nConnie started drawing as a child\, continued through her school years and began working in mixed media before it was called mixed media.  She spent several years designing and creating computer pixelated designs at a time when computers were still new technology. That period greatly influenced the geometric design approach seen in her work today. \n“ I’m most comfortable working with a variety of mixed media to create multiple types of non-objective designs. My canvasses exhibit a balance of colors\, forms\, and textures. The two-dimensional canvas is developed with flexibility\, movement and attention to detail based on a variety of surface treatments. I use basic design principles\, pure color\, geometric forms and even sculptural effects to create a “visual experience”. My artwork is something significant in itself\, not an imitation of life. It can produce a mood\, an emotion\, a sense of order or simply something unique to enjoy. ” ~ Connie Herschman Shorb

SUMMARY:Firehouse Pet Shop
DESCRIPTION:Featured Writer: TJ Farrell. \nLocal Author Book Reading for Kids and the Young at heart! \nJoin us at Firehouse Pet Shop Friday from 3pm to 6pm\, where you can meet local author TJ Farrell.  TJ will be reading from her adorable book titled THE ARFABET!  A Book of Dog Poems from A to Z.  This book would make a lovely holiday gift for any child on your shopping list. \nTJ will be reading from her book at 3pm\, 4pm\, and 5pm. And of course if anyone comes between those times you can expect a special one-on-one reading just for the little ones. \nParents and Grandparents bring the kids on down for the fun!  We will also be serving free hot cocoa\, hot apple cider\, coffee and of course our famous Firehouse Popcorn! \nTJ Farrell grew up in Colorado and has made Wenatchee her home for nearly 30 years. She makes up silly little rhymes at the drop of a hat and inappropriately inserts them into conversations. This book was a labor of love\, inspired by everyone who ever showed her a picture of their pet\, and the amazing diversity of the canine world. She also acts in local theater\, makes over-the-top Halloween costumes\, does voice acting\, podcasts with her friends\, and enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and video games.\n\nAram Joao Mestre León and Almir Ulises Mestre León are twin self-taught illustrators based in Las Tunas\, Cuba. Since a young age\, they’ve been drawn to the world of storytelling and self-expression through colorful images\, and their artworks often contain elements of fantasy.

DESCRIPTION:Ubuntu: How an Ancient African Concept Can Help Human Flourishing \nThe Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center is honored to have guest lecturer Dr. Itohan M. Idumwonyi\, PhD present on Ubuntu philosophy on Friday\, February 7\, 6-8 PM.  \nGonzaga University Professor Itohan M. Idumwonyi invites Washingtonians to explore Ubuntu. Ubuntu emphasizes community building\, a way to reapproach our relationships so we can break the artificial borders that separate us and look out for one another. Directing one’s own humanity to others helps us navigate beyond superficial solutions to rethink\, adapt\, and foster human interconnectedness. \nThis lecture is free to everyone. Pre-registration is recommended and can be found here. \nThe 2024-25 Film and Speaker Series is sponsored by Gesa Credit Union. This speaker event is brought to you by Humanities Washington. \n\nThe Quilt of Hope will also be on display during this event.\n\nAbout the Quilt of Hope Project: Each year\, we hold a drawing for a chance to receive our one-of-a-kind Quilt of Hope\, made from West African inspired fabrics and lovingly sewn by Hope Project partners who donate their time and talents.  The funds raised help sustain our three\, on-site vocational programs in Liberia.\n\nQuilt dimensions are 60″ x 60″. Made with West African inspired fabrics\, the front side is designed in the style of the Celtic Knots pattern.  This Quilt of Hope was created with love by Peggy Frazier\, Peggy McCune\, and Rebecca DeGaris.  We thank them for sharing their time\, hearts\, and talents to create the beautiful one-of-a-kind quilt.\n\nThis year’s drawing will be on March 5th.  Each $10 donation gives you one chance to win.  Purchase tickets here: www.hopeproject.org/quilt-of-hope

SUMMARY:Tumbleweed
DESCRIPTION:Featured Artist:  Müge Salmaner of Bonfire Jewelry Design. \nI’m Müge Salmaner\, the creative force behind the scenes. Bonfire Jewelry Design came to life over a decade ago when I first stepped into a jewelry studio and fell in love with metal and fire. Wearing my initial creations at art and music festivals\, I quickly realized how much people resonated with my unique designs—especially women who\, like me\, embrace hippie\, witchy\, and earthy aesthetics—pieces that blend the energy of nature with the spirit of festivals. What began as a creative escape grew into a brand rooted in self-expression\, sustainability\, and a deep connection to the natural world. Every piece I craft is infused with intention\, inviting you to carry a bit of nature’s magic with you\, celebrate your individuality\, and reconnect with a slower\, more mindful way of living. Through Bonfire Jewelry Design\, I hope to empower you to express your authentic self and honor the beauty within and around you.

My dream job is to work as a concept artist for an Animation/Game Studio. \nWhile I work across various mediums\, digital illustration is my true passion. Over the past two years\, I’ve worked as a freelance illustrator on Storybook-related projects. I started off my career with a strong foundation in traditional art\, including sculpture\, ceramics\, gouache\, watercolor\, oil painting\, and more. This diversity of mediums has greatly influenced my digital work\, enriching it with both depth and texture. \nI draw inspiration from cyberpunk and fantasy themes. Creating pieces that blend the futuristic with the fantastical\, while using dramatic lighting and vivid colors to bring my ideas to life. Through my art\, I aim to tell innovative stories\, build captivating worlds\, and inspire other artists to work towards achieving their goals.
