That same year she opened a community studio in a 100-year-old barn at Tierra Learning Center\, where people can take classes and workshops or work independently during open studio hours. \nMijanou’s art is continually inspired by nature and pop culture\, combining elements from to create one of a kind functional ceramic pieces. Her approach is multidisciplinary\, incorporating drawing and printmaking to add graphics of plants\, fungi or other shapes from the natural world\, to her pieces. \nCheck her out on instagram @MF_Pottery or make your own pots at her studio\, BUT FIRST come out to Ground Control for First Friday and shop her gorgeous collection!
